Paul Perkins grew up outside of Portland, Oregon. After graduating from Oregon State University, he moved to Washington, DC, and worked in the US Senate and then at the White House. Later, he graduated from The George Washington University Law School and clerked on the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Jackson, Mississippi. Paul is now an attorney in Washington, DC, where he lives with his wife, Hilary, and their daughter. His writing has been featured at The Huffington Post, Boundless, and RELEVANT.
