Perkins, Dwight H.

Dwight H. Perkins is the Harold Hitchings Burbank Professor of Political Economy, Emeritus in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He has authored, coauthored, or edited twenty-one books and numerous articles on economic history and economic development, including China Asia's Next Economic Giant?, Under New Ownership: Privatizing China's State-Owned Enterprises, and China's Modern Economy in Historical Perspective.
