At about the age of John Jr., Mr. Perkins stood in front of the family black and white television and watched the funeral of the nation's 35th President. His fascination of Kennedy's life continued through his life experiences. The 50th anniversary of the shooting in Dallas inspired Mr. Perkins to wonder what may have been different had that day not happened. leading to this book. Mr. Perkins' day job is as a project manager/executive of large information technology implementations for state and local governments.
