Emmanuele Pavolini is associate professor of economic sociology at the University of Macerata, Italy. He is coeditor of "Reforms in Long-Term Care Policies in Europe: Investigating Institutional Change and Social Impacts" and "Health Care Systems in Europe under Austerity: Institutional Reforms and Performance".
