Patel, Janky

Janky Patel is an award winning children's book author and a recent graduate from the Yale School of Public Health. Her first children's book, Curious Conditions: Emergency Room, won the 2010 Book of the Year award from her publisher and has been read in many classrooms and hospitals nationwide. Janky's passions include writing, practicing yoga, and traveling- which has lead her to explore Honduras and Haiti to promote healthcare. Janky also had the opportunity to conduct research at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital exploring preventative healthcare. Currently living in
