Parnes, Herbert S.

Parnes attended the University of Pittsburgh for his bachelor's and master's degrees. After his military service, he moved to Columbus, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in economics at Ohio State University. In addition to his 33 years there, he has also taught at Princeton, Rutgers, and the University of Minnesota.
