I grew up on Jonny Quest and Tom Swift, wanting to become a scientist/inventor. After half a dozen patents and years of work in observatories and high-tech, I realized that I was suffering from a lack of adventure, riches, and bad guys. I decided that maybe a career as a writer would lead me to true excitement. I can't reveal all the details, but... so far, so good.
