Parker has sold high-tech products and services for Fortune 500 companies since 1981. She won the Outstanding Sales Trainee Award in her first year at Four-Phase. She left Digital in 1989 to become an Area Marketing Manager for a District Sales Office of Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley. She was promoted to corporate headquarters in 1992 as Global Industry Sales Manager. In 1996 she moved to Portland, Oregon to become a branch manager for Rockwell Automation. She leads a team of sales engineers and customer service specialists. She is Chairperson of the Advisory Board for Oregon M.E.S.A. She
