Parker, Robert A.

Robert Andrew Parker has illustrated numeous acclaimed books for children, including the "Caldecott Honor Book Popcorn" and "Ma Goodness "by Edna Mitchell Preston, the Boston Globe--Horn Book Award winner "Cold Feet" by Cynthia DeFelice, and "Action Jackson" by Jan Greenberg and Sandra Jordan, which received six starred reviews and was an Robert F. Sibert Honor Book. His most recent book, "Ballet of the Elephants" by Leda Schubert, received two starred reviews and was a 2006 Kirkus Reviews Editor's Choice, a Horn Book Fanfare title, and a Texas Blue Bonnet Pick. Mr. Parker is a jazz musician.
