James Park started working for the City of Las Vegas, Nevada as a construction buyer. Throughout his twenty seven years with the city, he devised and implemented many innovative policies and procedures to streamline services provided the citizens of Las Vegas. He retired as Director of General Services. Before that he worked as an Army National Guard Technician, a buyer for the Atlas and Minuteman defense programs, The Nuclear Rocket Development Station, owned a private consulting firm, and also co-owned an auction house.
