I am in independent author, living in Richmond, Virginia with my wife and children. Since childhood, I've been a writer of short stories, generally based in the fantasy or science fiction genres, and in 2008 I began working on my first novel. After several rejections from major publishers, I decided in late 2010 to look into this new self publishing phenomenon. A month later, I had published my first novel.
