Papayanis, Nicholas

Nicholas Papayanis is a professor emeritus of history at the City University of New York's Brooklyn College and the Graduate Center and the author of a biography of the revolutionary syndicalist leader Alphonse Merrheim as well as of two previous books on the history of Paris, Horse-Drawn Cabs and Omnibuses in Paris and The Coachmen of Nineteenth-Century Paris.
