Papanastassiou, Basil

Basil Papanastassiou is a therapist and self-taught quilter. He designs and makes quilts, publishes quilt patterns and books, presents his quilts at various quilt guilds, and teaches quilting. He has published two quilt books, "Ten Modern Quilts" and "Seven Simple Sensational Modern Quilts." His stint working part-time at a quilt store gave him an invaluable knowledge of fabric, design, and the needs of quilters for new, innovative, and easy to sew quilt patterns (as well as giving him first crack at all the new fabric that came into the store).
