Sandy Baker combines two of her passions, writing and gardening, into her children's gardening books with a plot. Two years ago, when she moved from the country into town, she left behind seventy hummingbirds. The new home and garden came with none, that is, until she planted salvia, rosemary, hollyhocks, Island Snap Dragon, and hung up a feeder. Now, four hummers grace Sandy's garden.
