Owen, Catherine

Catherine Owen lives in Vancouver. Her poetry has appeared in periodicals throughout Canada as well as in New Zealand, Germany and Australia. Her collection "Somatic: The Life and Work of Egon Schiele" (Exile Editions 98) was nominated for the Gerald Lampert Award while "The Wrecks of Eden" (Wolsak and Wynn 02) was shortlisted for the BC Book Prize. Her most recent sequence of poems, a collaboration of dog-sonnets with Joe Rosenblatt, has been translated into Italian and Korean.
