Wayne holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from The University of Texas in Austin. He spent twenty-eight years working for the federal government writing manuals and regulations, first in San Antonio, Texas, then in Dayton, Ohio and finally in the Washington, D.C. area including the Pentagon. He is retired and lives in Alexandria, VA, just outside of Washington D.C. where he spends much of his time writing and traveling.
