Mark Onspaugh is a California native and the author of over forty published short stories. He studied psychology at UCLA and worked with exotic animals in Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training and Management program. He learned techniques of special effects makeup from artists like Thomas R. Burman, Rick Baker and Rob Bottin and studied improv comedy with the Groundlings. Mark has also written for film and television. He currently lives in Cambria, California with his wife and three peculiar cats. His first novel, THE FACELESS ONE, is available from Random House under its Hydra imprint.
