Al Olson has spent most of his life in the entertainment industry. He has worked as a producer, writer, director, performer and union stagehand. While finishing up his Physics degree from the University of Minnesota he was cast at The Guthrie Theater for 53 performances of "Becket" in 1973. Four years later he was hired with his folk singing group, "Pumpkin," to perform at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
