Oates, Kim

Dr Kim Oates is currently Emeritus Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Sydney, where he is involved in reviewing the postgraduate medical curriculum. He trained as a paediatrician and spent most of his professional life at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, where he had many roles, including the hospital's Chief Executive for eight years, before retiring last year. Dr Oates has eight grandchildren aged between eight weeks and nine years.
