I was born a 'city-chick' with a longing heart for the country. Everything about me gravitated to doing and learning it all country style. I leaned on all the Ol' Folk around me with a quick ear to hear how 'it' was done in the days gone by. My writing days began when our family once moved too far from other family members and friends. Isolated, I began to write letters to 'shut-ins' and old friends if only to know what it would mean to them to receive a letter.
