Scotty O'Brien was born in St. Louis in 1973 to parents that began their relationship in the psychiatric ward of a mental hospital where they met as patients. He grew up in a troubled household and spent much of his time alone except for the rare occasions his parents would take him to visit other family. Scotty discovered the Beatles as a kid and quickly became obsessed with music as a means of escape.
