This is Richard F. Novak's third book (Topping the Dome and Adelaide Johnson's Portrait Monument). His interest in early Christianity evolved from many visits to Rome and the catacombs of the area. His subsequent research into the history of the catacombs and the symbols used by the Christians to describe their beliefs led him to the story of the Platonia Chamber. Novak is also a retired Professor Emeritus from the College of Medicine of the University of Illinois.
