Gary Nott was born in 1963. He grew up in the 1970s, reading Enid Blyton. He has been the head teacher of different primary schools for the last twenty years. Married to Suzanne, he has three young children. Gary divides his time between school, family and writing. He loves to read his stories to his pupils. A childhood fascination with the circus sees Gary set his first novel under the big top: a tale of young love and adventure set against the debate whether to include wild animals in entertainment. Gary has also written a history textbook and a collection of assembly stories.
