Winner of Honorable Mention for Al Blanchard Award, 2015. Since I was eleven years old, I've loved to write. At twelve I sent one of my stories to Little, Brown Publishing Company in Boston. A thoughtful editor wrote me a note saying she was sorry she couldn't publish my story, but she advised me to keep writing, and one day, I'd be published. Yup, I took her advice to heart. I was published in an anthology, Best of Buffalo. In June, 2015, I won an award in the Al Blanchard short story contest for "White like Death."
