Having spent his teenage years living in Beirut, Lebanon, US native Christopher Noble later received a degree in business from Parsons College in Iowa. He served five years in the US military before he was honorably discharged in 1969 from the Army Medical Service Corps. As a medical platoon leader for the 1/1 armored cavalry, he received two bronze stars, a purple heart and a Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and the Combat Medic's Badge. More recently, he has lived in Saudi Arabia, and with the Peace Corps worked in the Ukraine as part of their business development program. He and his wife have
