MICHAEL OFORI-MANKATA was born and educated in Ghana. In the USA he attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs Ohio. "Mr. Michael" as he is fondly called, a master story teller, is also a retiree of the acclaimed United Nations International School (UNIS), where he taught elementary school and delighted children from all over the world with his stories and folk lore for over 30 years.
