LaTangela Newsome is best known for her role on Nickelodeon's hit show "Taina" where she co-costarred as "Maritza," the arch nemesis to the title character. LaTangela is also featured on the show's official soundtrack for Nickelodeon Records. LaTangela has since worked on the pilot for MTV's Wild-N-Out and is currently writing and producing independently under her own company SilverShadow Productions.
