Christina E. Newhill, PhD, LCSW, is currently Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh, where she has been a faculty member since 1990. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from the State University of New York at Binghamton, a master's in social work from Syracuse University, and a doctorate in social welfare from the University of California at Berkeley.
