Newberry, Clare Turlay

(1903-1970) Clare Turlay Newberry was called "the best cat artist since the Egyptians," and was lauded by the New York Times for creating "The very best cat pictures that have ever been made." Her books sold internationally and are still published in the US, Japan and Korea.
