Nearing, Betty

Betty Nearing has pursued writing first with the publication of severalshort stories and then with a Romance Novel, titled "The Island House." "Hang the Witch" is creative fiction based on the true story of her eighth great grandmother. Betty has loved writing all her life, but did not write to publish until she was widowed. An avid reader, she also volunteers at the local hospital and the regional library. Currently, she is working on a sequel to "The Island House" along with a memoir covering some of those events of her eighty plus years that would not or could not occur in the year 2012.
