Martin J. Murray is Professor of Sociology, SUNY Binghamton. He has previously held positions at the Shelby Cullom Davis Center for Historical Studies, Princeton University; The University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg); the University of Cape Town; and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
