A few words from the author: My early childhood was on my folk's ranch. My entire human environment for the first ten years of my life consisted of Mom, Dad, Sis, the hired man of the time, and the teacher during the school year. Mom said that when I was learning to talk, I liked rhyming words like, "Cat hat" rather than "Cat run." In 1952 I married the girl that I thought was the pick of the field.
