Murphy, Gerry

After military service in the Far East, Gerry Murphy trained as a teacher at St Mary's Teacher's Training College in Twickenham and taught for many years in England. Although having never formally attended a university, he obtained a BA degree in modern languages from the University of London, a BEd degree in Education from the University of Southampton, a MEd degree in Education from the University of North Wales and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Cape Town - all through private study.
