Ellen Murphy says she was born with a crayon in her hand. She has loved art and design her entire life. Since she was a teenager, she has loved quilting and has always enjoyed manipulating fabric - whether for garment construction or craft pursuits. Ellen has a degree in fine art and has a love of color. Working in graphic design and as a quilting teacher helped her create patterns that are easy to understand.
