Vibert Muhammad is a faculty member in the History Department at the University of Central Florida. He is the premier scholar on the Nation of Islam and Islam among people of African diaspora. His research has explored traditional and new schools of Islamic dogma throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. In addition, Professor Muhammad is a public historian who specializes in archeological history.
