Kim Moyer considered herself a writer from a young age. Her initial genre of choice was poetry, with the occasional short story in the mix. Kim started her first novel at the age of nineteen, a work in the drama-fiction genre, though the document remains unfinished. It was into her twenties when Kim realized her love for the thriller-suspense genre. As she became more captivated by the excellent characters and situational fear contained within the genre, Kim felt compelled to begin a new writing path in the thriller suspense category.
