Moyer, Don

Don Moyer was born in Brooklyn, NY. In the late 1940's his family moved to the South Bronx. His father, Howard, and mother, Sally, operated a candy store near the old Third Avenue Elevated Railway. When Don was seven, they moved to rural, upstate New York. Don still lives in upstate New York, at Clifton Park, near Saratoga Springs. As a young man, Don hitchhiked across the country, rode Southern Pacific freights through the Southwest desert, and finally graduated from Westfield (Massachusetts) College in 1972.
