David P. Moxley, PhD, DPA, ACSW, is the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Medicaid Professor of Health, and Professor of Community Practice and Social Action at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, University of Oklahoma, Norman. Over a 35-year career in social work, Dr. David has worked internationally to advance the well-being and quality of life of people who face considerable social challenges inherent in displacement, poverty, and poor health.
