Motif, Tyron

Tyron Motif, poet, spoken word artist, and motivational speaker, was born as Tyron Ross on the 27th of June in 1983 in Roosevelt, Long Island. He penned the majority of his first poetic work entitled Lyrics to a Woman in Harlem while he was incarcerated. He was released from prison on July 17, 2013. He currently spends his time performing at open mic events and working with at-risk youth in New York. He currently lives with his children, Tyron and Tymir, and his sweetheart, Tatiana. In the near future, he hopes to publish his second book of poetry as well as his first fiction novel.
