Mortensen, Marjorie Wright

Marjorie Wright Mortensen grew up in Portland, Oregon. After serving as a member of the Women's Army Corp, she lived in Hubbard, Oregon where she worked as a farmer, mother, and city bookkeeper. She is also the author of A Girl from Sellwood-memories of a childhood in Portland, Oregon in the Twenties.
