Tom Morrissey was a member of two rock groups that had hit records. He writes from the perspective of a successful musician. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he was surrounded by music as a child because of his parents love of it. This eventually led him to singing on street corners with friends whom he went on to form a band with. He also wrote songs for several major recording artists and entertainers.
