Tanis Morran lives in Victoria with her husband and two children, one of whom is a teenager who has autism. Although her search for enlightenment often leads to bewilderment, she loves the adventure she receives as she is led on a romp back and forth between the world of autism and someplace more typical. She is currently the secretary of the Victoria Society for Children with Autism. She has a bachelor's degree in education, but has had a fondness for writing ever since she was a young girl who spent part of her summers in her parents' bookstore.
