Morell, Michael

Michael Morell served as Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from May 2010 to August 2013. He served as Acting Director twice during this period. He is the author of "The Great War of Our Time: The CIA's Fight against Terrorism From al Qaida to ISIS", in which he devotes an entire chapter to the issue of the Agency's detention and interrogation program. He is nonpartisan, having served six administrations-three Democratic and three Republican-during his thirty-three-year career at CIA.
