Montgomery, Carol Hansen

Dr. Carol Hansen Montgomery spent most of her career in medical libraries, retiring as Professor and Director of the Drexel University libraries in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has authored, co-authored or edited more than 40 scholarly articles and seven books, including "In Her Own Words: Women Physicians Talk About Their Lives." (Paperback edition: Yale University Press, 1985). She has run and raced successfully for nearly 35 years. In 2005 she was the second of four women over 70 to finish the Boston Marathon.
