After a lifetime of FBI raids on his high school science projects, cloakroom discussions with union politicians, dealings with foreign governments seeking weapons and exploits with the Cuban underground, Roger C. Mock toned down his tales for bedtime adventures with his children. His own tree house with working elevator and underground clubhouse destroyed by the fire department seemed tame enough for his already-inventive children, and his hope was that other young people would enjoy the escapades of Tony and Rita, as well.
