Mitchell, Irene

Irene Mitchell taught English and Writing for many years in New York. She is the author of two previous collections, A Study of Extremes in Six Suites (Cherry Grove Collections, 2012) and Sea Wind on the White Pillow (Axes Mundi Press, 2009). Formerly poetry editor of Hudson River Art Journal in New York, Mitchell serves as poetry contest juror and ad hoc facilitator of poetry workshops. She is also known for her collaborations with visual artists and composers.
