Donna Mitchell grew up in a small town where everyone knew your name. A town where the children knew it was time to go home by the streetlights, and chasing fireflies was a nightly ritual. The small town life is what encouraged her to write about a young woman who breaks away from the norm and steps out of her comfort zone by moving away; just as she had done. Donna has lived in several states including Iowa and Arkansas. She currently resides in Midlothian, Texas with her husband and three children.
