Julie graduated from Tyler School of Art, Temple University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting & art history. After this, because of her passion for the sciences, she went back to school and got a second degree in cytology. She uses her visual skills to look at human cells through a microscope in a pathology lab by day, and create artwork in her home studio by night. Julie's work has appeared in numerous groups shows as well as a handful of solo exhibitions. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two dogs.
