I started writing when I was a child, mostly just scribbles and nonsense, but as a teenager I found it to be a great release from the troubles of life. I began writing poetry and songs, most of them very dark, and then fan fiction. All throughout school I wrote fan fiction and imagined myself someday writing a novel, but I didn't find the extra push I needed to actually do it until last year, when I finally published my first book.
