Barb enjoys life with her husband Rod in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. As a child she started out with oil painting, then as she got older, that realm of creativity was not often used except for maybe a good game of Pictionary. With her specialty being humor, there was a period in her life where she wrote and performed standup comedy. Now, her focus is mainly writing. For her father's 85th birthday she wrote a children's book inspired by her childhood. She has also now completed the second book in that series.
